ADHD assessment for adults.
A full NICE-aligned diagnostic pathway, delivered by consultant psychiatrists. Pre-assessment screening, clinical interview, QbCheck, written report and onward titration support, all in one fee.
If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
Adult ADHD rarely looks like the stereotype. We assess across presentations, including those missed in childhood and the ones masked by years of coping.
Adults (18+)
You've felt scattered, restless, or behind your peers for as long as you remember. Burnout, missed deadlines, masking, and an underlying feeling something doesn't add up.
Late-recognised
It clicked in your thirties, forties or beyond. You've done the screeners and want a specialist who'll take you seriously, not dismiss it as stress.
Already diagnosed
Diagnosed elsewhere, but stuck, waiting on titration, fighting for shared care, or finally ready to optimise treatment with a specialist who has time for you.
A complete clinical pathway, not a 30-minute screening.
Every Neurofer ADHD assessment follows the NICE NG87 guideline. We use validated tools, take a full clinical history, and deliver a report your GP, employer or school will actually accept.
Pre-assessment questionnaires
Validated screening tools and a detailed developmental history. Sent securely, completed at your pace.
Clinical interview (60–90 minutes)
A consultant psychiatrist takes a full history using DIVA-5, with collateral input from a partner or close family member where relevant.
Computerised attention test (QbCheck)
Objective FDA-cleared assessment of attention, impulsivity and motor activity, a meaningful complement to clinical interview.
Diagnostic report
A detailed written report within five working days, diagnostic outcome, treatment plan, and recommendations for work, school or home.
Follow-up & onward care
A 30-minute review session to walk through the report, plus access to titration and shared-care pathways if medication is recommended.
Specialist clinicians, not generalists.
Every member of our team works exclusively in ADHD and autism, GMC-registered, RCPsych-affiliated.

How long does the assessment take?
The clinical interview itself is 60–90 minutes, plus your QbCheck (around 20 minutes). Pre-assessment questionnaires take 30–45 minutes at home. Total clinician contact time: about two hours.
Is the diagnosis recognised by the NHS and my GP?
Yes. Our reports follow NICE NG87 criteria and are written to the standard NHS clinics and GPs use. Most GPs accept the diagnosis on the report and use it to support shared care for medication.
Can I get medication after diagnosis?
Yes, where it's clinically appropriate. Medication is managed through our 12-week titration pathway (£750), which picks up directly from your assessment with the same clinical team.
What if I'm not diagnosed with ADHD?
That's a valid outcome and we'll talk it through in your post-assessment review. The written report explains what we found and what we didn't, and signposts to other support if your symptoms point somewhere else.
Do you assess for autism or co-occurring conditions?
Yes. If signs of autism or another condition come up in screening, we'll discuss switching to a combined assessment before you book. If it comes up later, we can extend the assessment without restarting it.
Take the next step.
Most people who book today are seen within two weeks. If you'd rather talk first, we offer a free 15-minute call with a clinician.
