Dr Wasay Foladi

Dr Wasay Foladi is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) specialising in neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and Autism across children, young people and adults.
He is trained and experienced in ADHD assessment and has achieved Clinical Reliability in ADOS-2 and ADI-R autism diagnostic tools. His approach follows structured, DSM-5-based diagnostic frameworks while ensuring each individual and their family remain at the centre of the assessment process.
Wasay began his career in clinical psychology, serving as a Clinical Psychologist within the Armed Forces Medical Corps. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, an MSc in Mental Health Nursing (Distinction) and an MSc in Psychology.
His experience spans CAMHS, community and crisis mental health services, senior clinical leadership and independent neurodevelopmental assessment. He has also undertaken further training in CBT, DBT and Cognitive Analytic Therapy.
Wasay is passionate about delivering thorough, evidence-based assessments and producing clear, compassionate reports that help people better understand themselves and access appropriate support.
Outside of work, Wasay has a strong interest in health, fitness and wellbeing. He regularly trains in the gym and has practised and taught yoga and mindfulness. He values the connection between physical and mental wellbeing and, above all, enjoys spending time with his family.
