Dr Ahmed Adeleke
Psychiatrist
Dr Ahmed Adeleke is a GMC-registered doctor and Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, with 12 years of medical experience, including five years specialising in psychiatry.
He is UKAAN-trained in Adult ADHD assessment and uses the DIVA-5 diagnostic interview as part of a comprehensive, structured and evidence-based approach to assessment.
Through his experience working in inpatient psychiatry, Dr Adeleke has developed a particular interest in identifying undiagnosed ADHD in adults, especially where symptoms may overlap with conditions such as anxiety and depression. He recognises the significant difference that an accurate diagnosis can make to a person's treatment, understanding of themselves and overall quality of life.
Dr Adeleke is passionate about providing a supportive, compassionate and person-centred assessment experience. His priority is ensuring that every patient feels listened to, understood and reassured throughout their assessment journey, with clear guidance on the next steps.
Outside of Work and away from his clinical responsibilities, Dr Adeleke enjoys cooking and is a dedicated Arsenal supporter, following the team through both the successful seasons and the more stressful ones!
